Two forms of tea tree: a water-soluble extract at 0.5% for terpinen-4-ol without the sensitisation risk of crude oil, plus tea tree essential oil at 0.3% — at the safe rinse-off limit, not above it.
Tocopherol at 0.2% is in the bar for one reason: tea tree oil forms peroxides as it ages, and that is what irritates skin. Our oil is accepted only from fresh stock with a peroxide value under 10.
