Sea buckthorn CO2 extract at 1.5% is the reason this oil exists — it carries omega-7 palmitoleic acid, which is uncommon in plant oils and is what sits behind the glow association. Saffron-infused oil at 3%, rosehip at 12% and pomegranate at 2% build the carotenoid layer.
Squalane at 25% keeps it from feeling heavy. Sea buckthorn is deep orange and oxidises readily, so it comes in small fresh lots with a peroxide value under 5, validated not to stain at use dilution.
An oil replenishes and seals. It is not a substitute for a moisturiser underneath, and on genuinely dehydrated skin the water has to come first.
