Use a few times a week, building up gradually. Alcohol-free, SLS-free, paraben-free.
The pore specialist: salicylic acid travels into the pore and clears it from inside, with willow bark and zinc PCA in support. Start three nights a week on the T-zone, building to nightly if skin is happy. Always follow with moisturiser, and wear sunscreen daily — that's non-negotiable with any acid.

Toner comes right after cleansing and before moisturiser. The full order is: cleanse, tone, treat (any serum), then moisturise — each layer goes from thinnest to thickest. Applying toner to freshly-washed, slightly damp skin also helps the ingredients absorb better and locks in some of that water before it evaporates.
Alcohol-heavy toners give an instant tight, "clean" feeling — but that is dehydration, not cleanliness. The alcohol strips the skin barrier, and oily skin responds by producing even more oil within hours, a rebound loop that keeps skin both greasy and irritated. Alcohol-free toners balance and hydrate instead, giving the same fresh feel without the dryness or the rebound oiliness.
Hydrating and balancing toners — like rose, cucumber or kesar formulas — are safe twice daily, every day.
