Built without silicones. The slip comes from coco-caprylate/caprate at 20% and squalane at 8%, carried in a volatile coconut-alkane base that flashes off and leaves nothing behind — the dry-touch finish silicones give, from plant esters instead.
Argan at 10% for shine and softness. Oil-dispersible keratin at 2% does the job amodimethicone used to: it lays a protein film along the cuticle and stays there through the day.
The honest trade: silicones are still the better heat shield. If you flat-iron daily at high heat, a dimethicone serum protects more. This one is built for frizz, shine and combability, and we are not going to claim equal thermal protection without tress testing to back it up.
